Time to RSVP for the Annual Behind the Gates Party. The party will be held Sunday, August 23, 2026, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the pool enclosure! The pool will be closed that day for the party. We will pray for no thunderstorms this year! It certainly made the party memorable though. 

 

Main Dishes that will be served are Mississippi Pot Roast Sliders on King’s Hawaiian Buns, Slow Cooked Barbecued Chicken Breast Sliders on King’s Hawaiian Buns (or skip the buns!) and Dutch’s Wicked Smoked Beans. Add all the fabulous side dishes and desserts that your neighbors will bring and top it off with beer brewed by Jim Brewer (he has won medals for his beer!).

 

Reno and Cindy Holler from Sisters will entertain us with great songs once again. They will play from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Last year, we asked for song requests from the community, and it worked out well. Reno and Cindy play a little Bluegrass, a little Country Western and a lot of Rock and Roll! Please send your requests to Sue Emmons at susanemmons2001@gmail.com.         

 

The cost to attend will be: $15 per person with RSVP and $20 per person at the gate with no RSVP. Children under 12 are free. Please RSVP to susanemmons2001@gmail.com. I prefer email RSVP because it is easier to keep track and record the RSVPs. The ticket price increase is needed to defray the cost of the entertainment and the table and chair rental. Where else can you get a great dinner with live entertainment and free beer for $15?

 

Please bring a side dish to share (but not beans because we are serving them!) or a dessert to share. PLEASE LABEL YOUR DISHES AND SERVING WARE! PLEASE ALSO MAKE NOTE IF YOUR DISH HAS NUTS IN IT OR IF IT IS GLUTEN FREE.

Please bring your own beverage of choice. Bottled water will be provided. Ice will also be provided.
